THE SISTERS DINNER
The Eubie Blake Center
Every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm
Over 70% of Black households are ran by single mothers who often work more than one job to support their family. Moreover, Black women suffer disproportionately from abuse, disease and incarceration. Between motherhood, work and abuse, Black women are often in need of support systems.
The Sisters Dinner is just that. Tendea hosts a free dinner held every Wednesday from 4:30-6:30pm, an opportunity for Black Women to strenghten one another, solve the issues related to womanhood and build a sisterhood.
